It has been demonstrated that healthcare technologies, such as informatics and communication tools, increase patient safety. Errors have decreased thanks to the adoption of electronic health records (EHRs) and computerized provider order entry (CPOEs). All team members and doctors can read, add to documents, and communicate with each other. Despite the fact that some technology systems do not support conversation-style communication, their documentation nonetheless serves as a means of communication.
