In which abdominal quadrant is the liver located?
Most of the liver is in Right Upper Quadrant, but a small part is in Left Upper Quadrant.

Abdomen can be divided into 4 quadrants. The location of abdominal organs is expressed using these quadrants.

The following diagram shows the four quadrants of abdomen :

Fig 2: This diagram shows different abdominal organs with the quadrants they are located in. Here we can see the most part of liver is located in Right Upper Quadrant (RUQ). But the left lobe of liver is in Left Upper Quadrant (LUQ).

So, liver is located mostly in RUQ and partly in LUQ.
