Technology Devices Used in Nursing Education:

1.The assigned reading from Teaching in Nursing: A Guide for Faculty discusses the use of technology in nursing education. Consider the types of technology devices available today such as eReaders, smartphones, and net books, to name just a few. Select one type of technology application and explain how it is changing the nature of the learning environment and/or the learner’s experience in it.

2.Application of technology in nursing education is one of the most  groundbreaking incentives that was carried on in the past decade. However, transition from traditional to innovative methods can be challenging. What are some identified barriers to utilization of  technology in academic or clinical settings? Although responding to CAT questions is not required, substantive responses will count towards weekly participation points.

3.Select a specific technology and describe how the use of that technology in nursing education would differ with different types of students.

4. What are some strategies administrative body can utilize to ensure that faculty members are well prepared to transition from traditional methods to innovative methods (application of technology).
