Class, as we move into the Week 8 Discussion, our focus is “The Trouble with Aid.” We will delve into this topic primarily through the Webtext Chapter Readings and the Week 8 Lecture. We are so accustomed to hearing about Aid to Africa, (no wonder many students think of Africa as a country and not a continent), that we do not get to see that there is another more prosperous side of the continent.
