Within institutions and organizations, CITI training is a prerequisite of IRB approval. Research is not required for PUB-540, but through completing this online training, you will read and process information and take quizzes to demonstrate your understanding of research ethics and IRB requirements. During this course, you will complete the Public Health CITI Training-540 (216092) course that contains the following modules:
Introduction to Public Health Research (ID: 17637)
Public Health Research and Public Health Practice (ID: 17638) Ethical Issues in Public Health Research (ID: 17640)
The required, self-paced training for PUB-540 will take approximately 3 hours to complete, and the training is free to GCU learners.
Review the “CITI Training Instructions,” located in the topic Resources. These instructions will explain how to set up your CITI account and register for the required course.
Register for Public Health CITI Training-540:

Complete all modules of the Public Health CITI Training-540 course.
