I am a mother of a 2 1/2-year-old daughter who has been sleeping in my husband’s and my bed every night. This began soon after my child was born because I found it was easy to breast-feed in the bed while my husband worked the night shift. His work schedule changed recently and we want my daughter to sleep in her own bed. She is resisting and it has turned into a battle. Please explain why this is so difficult, and what we can do to get her to sleep in her own bed.
