Philosophy of Social Work

Complete a research paper on one system that involves the social work profession and describe individual, group or family, and community social justice and social welfare issues involving that system, noting how issues cross over into multiple systems. Discuss the typification of at least one major social problem or condition that affects the system and the people involved. Analyze how and why problems occur and how problems are “managed” according to appropriate explanations provided by behavioral theories and approaches. Conclude with an analysis of social work’s role in helping individuals and promoting social justice and social change in this system.
