Identify a professional organization to research. Obtain faculty approval for the professional organization you plan to research.
Conduct research on the organization. Be sure to locate articles, journals, or other sources besides the organizations website. Locate the contact person for the organization and ask at least three specific questions you can’t answer based on their website or an article search.
Prepare a flyer, pamphlet, or other marketable multimedia to promote the organization. Include the following:

The role/mission of the organization.
Explanation of professional networking as it relates to advanced practice nursing and how the organization contributes to professional networking
The organizations involvement with supporting the core competencies of nursing.
Write a 300-500 word summary article analyzing three of the core competencies of advanced practice nursing and how they relate to professional organizations and professional development. Consider the following questions in your summary.
