Disparities

The task instructions direct you to discuss the disparities of disease “management” at the national and international level.

You may choose to analyze, but are not limited to, disparities in access to care, medical insurance, cultural implications, etc.

For example, I suspect that disease management approaches [e.g. access to care, coverage for payment of care, etc.] may be very different between a very sparsely populated rural setting and a highly populated urban setting.

Additionally, you need to investigate what standards/guidelines of your selected “disease process” management in other countries entail and discuss any disparities in management that you identify. If you do not note any disparities you need to discuss how the standards/guidelines are congruent!

You can conduct a Google search to locate approaches for your selected “disease process” management in other countries.  Additionally, there are some great websites located at the end of the WUT2 Task Made Easy document [accessible through the “Course Tips” tab located on the right hand side of the Course of Study].
