It has been a challenging time for educators, students, and practitioners. Lockdowns have disrupted delivery of education programmes, practice placements and planned student experiences. This has forced the shift to online and blended teaching to be rapidly advanced and all involved in professional education have had to grapple with new technologies, rewriting course content and had to develop innovative strategies in adapting programme delivery.

This 13th International Conference on Practice Teaching and Field Education is about sharing experiences –

how did you adapt?
what worked / what did not work?
As we move back into ‘normality’ and recovery, based on your experiences – what would you restore and renew and why?
What would you reconstruct differently; what innovations, established over the past year, would you want to take forward?

There will be selected live sessions, pre-recorded presentations with live Q&As, interactive workshops with breakout sessions. ***Please note the conference will be in English.***

About the Conference Series

This is the 13th conference in this series. Conferences are multidisciplinary with presentations from a wide range of health and social care fields which have included, among others, nursing, occupational therapy, medicine, social work, dentistry, physiotherapy, and counselling. Participants come from around the world. The conferences have been noted for the breadth and richness of the presentations on offer. Participants have greatly valued the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues in a range of professions in a relaxed and friendly environment. This year, we hope this online event will offer the same opportunities and experiences.
