All responses for each question is 200 words each. Please cite each reference under each question. The pages that are referenced in each question are attached.
Unit III
1. What are some methods you could use to adapt communication to different personalities, cultures, genders, and generations?

1. Discuss your conflict style(s) and how they affect your communication in the workplace. Write a short essay explaining what skills for managing emotions and conflict you use as aids when you communicate in the workplace or at home (pp. 133-137).

2. Read Skills for a Digital Age Box (Pg. 139). After reading the do’s and don’ts of Facebook for work, create a list of at least three rules your company would use for Facebook. Also include why these rules are needed.

3. Take the “Where your time goes” inventory (pp. 384-385). Evaluate your results and write a short essay covering:

Discuss any changes you would like to make in allocating your time

4. Read Ethics box (pp. 128) below and choose two of the four questions to answer.
How does a leader navigate these legally and ethically murky waters?

Unit 6
1. Identify a team that you are currently participating in, or a team with which you have worked in the past. Identify norms and any explicit ground rules that were developed for the team. Even if the team did not have an explicit mission statement, as you reflect on the team goals and objectives, develop a team mission statement for the team using the guidelines presented in this chapter (pp. 216-217).

2. Identify all the ways you have communicated, using media or technology, in the past week to collaborate virtually with someone. Identify how the presence of anonymity, physical appearance, distance, and time (see textbook, p. 207) have had an effect on your virtual communication.

3. Of the roles listed on pages 211–213, which role or roles do you typically assume in groups, teams, and meetings? Identify two task and two social roles you usually do not assume. Why don’t you assume these roles?

4. Develop a meeting agenda for an upcoming meeting. Develop a meeting goal or goals, and identify the sequence of agenda items. After you have written your agenda, write a brief explanation of why you structured your agenda as you did. Use the information on pages 234–236 as a basis for your rationale.
