Instructions:

• Document the relationship between the worst cholera outbreak in Victorian London and the development of public health practices resulting in sustainable living conditions.
• Consider the impact of such developments on culture and society. Students will submit a reflective essay response to a TEDTalk presented by Steven Johnson titled, A Guided Tour of the Ghost Map.  He discusses the work of Dr. John Snow.
• The essay should be at least 3-5 paragraphs long to summarize key details and explain the cultural or societal connection of interest with the public health practices highlighted in this presentation.
