Symptoms associated with anaphylactic shock include “flushing, nausea, vomiting, fever, rash, hives, angioedema, feels of impending doom, bronchospasm, back pain, and circulatory collapse.” (Randall, 2018). It may be hard for the nurse to differentiate from other issues the patient has. The nurse can differentiate these by being aware of the patient’s allergies.
