Conflict Management Within the Program
Conflict Resolution Within the Program:There will always be conflict in a setting where people are present. There are numerous types and solutions. The most important aspect of conflict is that it has an impact on the success of an organization or program if it is not resolved. Please respond to the following questions using information from the module readings, your interviewee, and your own research.
Describe some of the conflicts encountered by the program. (Was there more at the beginning of the program or at a later stage?)
Determine the nature of the conflict.
Discuss how this conflict affects the program’s effectiveness. (Have any negative patient outcomes occurred?)
Describe the steps taken to bring the conflict to a close.
Was the issue resolved in the end? If not, what happened to the program’s participants who were involved in the conflict?
